“Then he took the seven loavesand the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they gave in turn to the people.”— Matthew 15:36
Jesus not only multiplies what we give Him, but He multiplies the people who give out what He has multiplied!
We always think about this when a team leaves for Malawi to work with SAFE. (Sub Saharan Africa Family Enrichment). What can they take that Jesus wants to multiply, and then have our Malawian brothers and sisters give out to those to whom they minister?
For example, the “loaves and fish taken” might be a projector to show the Jesus Film, or a training that teaches how to instruct others.
Our July mission team took powdered paint, brushes, large poster board and translated Bible stories — praying that Jesus would multiply these things given to Him for the children in Malawi.
They taught the older kids at SAFE Haven how to make “big Bible story books” written in Chichewa and illustrated by the kid’s art. These books will multiply as the SAFE Haven kids continue to make them for the caregivers to read to the young children in SAFE’s Community Based Childcare Centers (Preschools).
Even paint, brushes and papercan multiply when given to Jesus to “feed” hungry little hearts!
So beautiful to see how the kids at SAFE Haven and caregivers in the CBCCs (preschools) became part of this multiplication story!
You are part of this story too! Because your prayers and gifts have multiplied to make all of SAFE’s programs in the villages, schools and prisons possible!
Thank you for your “loaves and fish” given to Jesus that He is multiplying in Malawi!
