The Hope Letter.

Thank you again for your interest in CeCe's Hope Center.
We are blessed to have you with us on this journey. Together we can bring hope, healing and real world help to women who desire independence but lack family and network, and need assistance in identifying sources of support.

Leader Notes
Dear Friends and Supporters,

As society takes preventative measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), our program participants are experiencing setbacks that can undo their hard work towards becoming independent and self-sustaining members of our community.

Wendy, for example, is an ambitious entrepreneurial, who worked against the odds and started a small, home-based bakery business. Wendy has generously supported our hospitality events with her delicious cookies. Many of our program participants fuel our drive to forge forward in bringing hope to others like Wendy. Sadly, this week, Wendy’s business came to a halt. She cannot find the supplies she needs to fulfill her orders and has had to refund her customers. Others who have part-time or hourly wages are being sent home, without pay. We believe that the supply and demand gap we are already working to bridge is about to become much wider.

We are working to make sure that the women in our community who are already at-risk, do not turn to alternative and dangerous ways to meet their most basic needs. As we commit to securing short-term housing, more than ever, we need your financial support in any amount that is meaningful to you. We cannot fight this battle alone. If we are to prevent and protect women from the business of sex trafficking and we need your help.

We are grateful for your support and thank you in advance.

Upcoming Events
Quillow Sewing at Bolts & More
March 27th & 28th
3133 S Lindsay Rd #107, Gilbert, AZ 85295

Our friends at Bolts and More in Gilbert have been hosting monthly gatherings where individuals can volunteer their sewing skills to build Quillows.
A Quillow is a hygiene kit contained in a blanket, folded into a pillow!
We coordinate with first responders who are on the streets and likely to encounter women in need of help. The Quillow is an ice breaker and helps the first responder approach the individual in a non-threatening way. They can offer the Quillow, which helps build trust and offer assistance. CeCe's Hope Center's Quillows help get the word out about our services and provide immediate relief at a time when a young woman might feel like she has nowhere to turn.
If sewing isn't your thing, volunteers also can help collect the hygiene items that go into each Quillow. You can find a list of items HERE as well as drop off locations. Have a hygiene item collection party, invite your friends, share CeCe's mission and have some fun.
