The development of CPGs requires the participation of a multidisciplinary and balanced panel, including individuals from all relevant professional groups and disciplines involved, including methodological experts. Also, representatives of those who are to be affected by the intervention in question should be incorporated, including patients, relevant groups, doctors and other health professionals when appropriate.

26 - 27 OF FEBRUARY 2019


The training will be held in Hospital Universitario La Paz, Madrid on the 26th-27th of February from 15:30 to 18:30. The objective is to offer an introductory training to all professionals interested in the development of CPG and especially to those involved in the WG Clinical Practice Guidelines. The training will include a practical approach to all task within the CPG process with a definition of the roles. The hands-on methodology and case-based learning will provide an introductory knowledge to the main tools used in the CPG development, mostly GRADEpro GDT.

First course “Hot topics in pediatric transplantation (solid organ and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation)”  

This e-learning activity is intended for an international audience of healthcare providers (HCP) working in paediatric transplantation, specifically including paediatricians, transplant surgeons, gastroenterologists, hepatologists, hematologist-oncologists, primary care physicians, nurses and health staff involved in psychological and social care.  The goal of this activity is to improve HCP knowledge of major issues in pediatric solid organ transplantation (SOT) and hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation (HSCT).
