A Line from Liza....

Happy new year!  Things are back in full swing at Lifelong and class registrations for the new semester are rolling in.  I hope you've had a chance to look at the newest catalog- kudos to Teri Reinemann on another terrific job and a nice variety of offerings from which to choose!

Next week we welcome our volunteer tax preparers who will spend the week in tax training and readying themselves to complete close to 800 tax returns between February and mid-April!  They are a very dedicated and knowledgeable group serving under the leadership of Khaki Wunderlich, our equally dedicated TCE Coordinator.

Our tax phone line opens on Monday, January 9th, with Joyce Billing's patient and friendly voice on the other end of the line.  That phone number is: 607-216-7862.  Please leave a message if the line isn't answered right away, and we'll be sure to get back to you to schedule your appointment.  We encourage returning taxpayers and those 60+ to call early in the season, as you don't need to have all documents in hand to schedule an appointment.
