Is your child leaving Freyberg?
Are you moving out of the area?

Please let us know!  If you are moving or your child will be enrolling at a new primary school in the New Year, please notify the office staff.  We are currently in the very early process of finalising classes for next year and this will enable us to have accurate numbers for classes in 2020.

Organisation for 2020

Due to the significant roll growth we are unable to accommodate parent requests for teachers/specific classes for 2020.  However, if you have information regarding your child's learning that may be valuable in placement we would encourage you to contact our senior management staff - Ms Maria Dopheide if your child is a Year 0 - 2, Ms Emma-lea Graaf if your child is a Year 3 - 4, or Mr Matt Allely if your child is a Year 5 - 6 student next year.

Our senior management staff will try to assist as best as they can.
Children's Artwork Calendars

This is one of our last fundraising ventures for the year.  Children have been busy creating wonderful art suitable to be made into calendars, diaries, greeting cards etc.

Personalised order forms will be sent home tomorrow with all students. To view your child's picture and order products got to www.kidsartworks.com and type in your child's personalised code which is found at the bottom of your child's order form.  The last day for all orders is Wednesday 30th October. Thank you in advance for your support!

Enrolments for 2020

On Thursday 17th October letters were posted to in zone and out of zone applicants confirming an offer of placement for 2020.  Applications for out of zone students wishing to attend Freyberg for 2020 are now closed.

If you have handed in an enrolment form and have not yet received a letter please contact Juliette in the school office on (09) 8389664.

We look forward to welcoming many new families to Freyberg in 2020.

School Term Dates

Term 4 - 14th October - 18th December 2019 - early finish of 2 p.m.
Have you seen our beautiful new addition?

Our flower wall was courtesy of some very artsy students!  It looks great and is a lovely addition to our many art installations around our school.  Thank you Ms Dopheide for making this a happening thing!!!
What Teachers Want You To Know

Learning doesn't stop at 3.30 p.m.

You can help your teacher do a better job by encouraging your children to show you something that they are working on at school.  Every time your children get to show off what they know, it builds confidence.
MISSING -
As new polar fleece jacket &  2 x school hats clearly named Noah Kini.  If your child has taken these home in error kindly return them to the school office where they will be returned to the rightful owner.
Important Information for parents regarding Student Immunisation Records

Letters were sent home on the 2nd September and again on the 17th September to a small number of families who are required to update their child's immunisation records.  Records for these students were provided when enrolments were formalised but those only showing details as "partial completion to 15 months of age" are requested to be brought in.

A large number of parents have already updated their child's details by providing proof of current immunisation status provided by their doctor/medical clinic. Thank you for this update however we still have some 20 students with incomplete records.

If you have received a letter we would appreciate you update the school office as soon as possible. Should you have any questions please contact us.
