FREYBERG
DISGLO
Thank you, thank you to all those Fundraising members and staff who supported our latest Disco last Friday night and of course to the children and parents who attended.  Our DJ for the night - Mr Allely - was outstanding and organised a playlist to get everyone up and dancing.  It's worth mentioning that the behaviour of those students who attended was outstanding!

We  would like to remind parents that all students tickets must be completed on the reverse of the ticket outlining emergency contact numbers and who is collecting the child prior to child entry.  This enables a quick process to keep move the lines of those waiting quickly and keep everyone out of the cold.

The Glo merchandise was a huge success and with a great selection of food available we can let you know that total monies raised were $1808.  Thank you again to all those who attended and supported our latest fundraising event!
Some Important Messages for all Parents/Caregivers

From Senior Management -
A friendly reminder...if your children are involved in an incident at school, please do not approach the parents of other children involved to discuss it. It would be appreciated if you could instead talk directly to the classroom teacher as they will have all of the correct information and will be able to help you, or direct you to a staff member who can. Thank you!

From our Teachers -
We are seeing many students arriving at school each morning before 8.30am. Although we love to see such enthusiasm for learning, we would like to remind parents that students should not be onsite at this time unless they are enrolled at Kids Club.

From the Office Staff -
A concerned parent has informed us that they witnessed one of our precious students being nearly hit by a car at the Tiroroa gate entrance.  This has highlighted the fact that we still have parents reversing down the driveway with little or no vision.

This car park is strictly for staff and there are 5 allocated parking spaces available for preschool parents only.

Please do not reverse down the driveway!

Always ensure you drive out of the gate with clear visibility of all students especially those crossing the carpark entry/exit.

This is a health and safety concern and we expect co-operation in this request.

TE ATATU FIRE SERVICE VISIT TO TEAM 1 STUDENTS

Last week our team 1 students in Rooms 1, 2, 3 & 4 received a visit from Adrian and fellow firemen from the Te Atatu Fire Service!  Adrian thoroughly enjoyed visiting and emailed to let us know our students had great questions and knowledge about how to be Firewise.

He also asked us to inform our Freyberg community that you are more than welcome to contact the Te Atatu Fire Station if you need smoke alarms …. and they’re free!  If you need assistance with installation we understand this is also a service they can offer.

Thank you again to all the staff at the Te Atatu Fire Service for all that you do to ensure our safety within the Te Atatu community!
