Welcome back! This week we are interested in hearing your feedback about how our distance learning has been going for your children during both lockdowns this year. We are always looking to better our practice so we value any feedback you would like to give us - just click on the button below. We have really appreciated your support this year as we have had to transition back and forth, often with very short notice, between Alert levels.
It was great to speak with so many of you at our recent Freyberg Whānau evening and we are looking forward to seeing you all onsite again as soon as we make the transition to Alert Level 1.

Thank you again for popping into the school office, checking and updating your child's student records at the Whanau at Freyberg Afternoon!
We are excited to share the news that Freyberg Community School will be welcoming the NZ ice skate tour to our school hall! This will be taking place on the night of Monday the 6th of September and there are limited spaces - so get in quick. The school receives 20% of takings after the event so it is a great fundraiser for us! All students will receive an ice skating lesson during school time so it's a great opportunity for them to show off their new skills.
While parents/caregivers have been unable to enter the school site we have had a lot of activity taking place. We look forward to welcoming all members of our Freyberg Whānau on our school site once we head into Alert Level 1.
All we can tell you is.........it's super exciting and we can't wait to share!
Save the Date
We are hoping to hold our annual Athletics Day on Thursday the 15th of April, COVID and weather depending. We'd love to see as many whānau members there as possible, so lock it in your calendar and more information will follow soon!
The school has been given limited free tickets to attend this event. If you would like to attend please ask your child to pop into the school office and see Mrs Prins. Tickets will be given on a first in, first served basis.
