Jazz at the House 2020

Concert Series

Soon, the holidays will be behind us and we will land firmly in 2020. What better way to begin the New Year than with a jazz concert at Vintage House. We are excited to be kicking off a 2020 series of concerts called Jazz at the House. The series starts with Brian Nova, followed by Carlos Reyes, Paula West, and ending with Larry Vuckovich.

In collaboration with the Sonoma Valley Jazz Society, the series begins Sunday, January 5 with Brian Nova.  A Concord Recording Artist Brian is considered one of the top Jazz Guitarists/Vocalists in the nation, according to a recent poll in Jazz Improv Magazine. Joe Pass said of Nova: “I feel Brian is one of the finest Jazz Guitarists on the scene!”  He combines a rare mixture of melodic jazz guitar and eloquent vocals and is one of the few jazz artists in the world who has both studied and toured with the two titans of jazz guitar – Herb Ellis and Joe Pass.

An interesting fact about Brian:  He used to call Sonoma home!  We are so excited to have him back and it just so happens that the concert is also a release party for his new CD! We can’t wait and we hope to see you there.

Jazz at the "House" Presents

Guitarist Brian Nova

Come to Vintage House for a spectacular afternoon of Jazz!

Concord Recording Artist Brian Nova is considered one of the top Jazz Guitarists / Vocalists in the nation, according to a recent poll in Jazz Improv Magazine.  Joe Pass said of Nova: ‘I feel Brian is one of the finest Jazz Guitarists on the scene!’  He combines a rare mixture of melodic jazz guitar and eloquent vocals and has the distinction of being the only guitarist who was mentored by and toured with the two titans of Jazz guitar: Herb Ellis and Joe Pass. Rock Icon Steve Miller says: ‘I’ve met and known a lot of guitarists in my career, and ‘B’ is the best guitarist I’ve ever met.’

Brian is a Benedetto Artist - “Benedetto Artists” represents the world’s top tier of jazz guitarists known for influencing several generations of the finest musicians worldwide.  The "Benedetto Artists” category features musicians who are widely acclaimed as the finest players by their peers, having expansive discographies, and touring credits with Jazz Masters.
