Friday the 19th of March
Welcome <<First Name>>,

Even though it is now 'officially' Autumn it really is just the start of Summer (we hope). March has been massive so far and it is just going to get bigger and busier as we move through the month. I am still buzzing from watching the Americas Cup. How inspirational was that? Kiwis can really fly!
I have been looking around the garden centre and have been so inspired by what I see. Outstanding new season perennials and shrubs are filling up the gaps. Seedlings look lush and strong, ready to give you a blaze of colour or feed you through the winter. Bulbs look inspiring in their colourful packs. A promise of great things to come!

Happy gardening,
From The Lushingtons Team

It is such a pleasure to harvest and eat homegrown fruit. Once upon a time fruit trees could be found in every Kiwi garden. Nowadays gardens are smaller and it can be difficult to find space. So for those that have a smaller garden or no garden at all, we are excited to introduce to you a great range of fruit trees that are perfect for those smaller spaces.

Ican Harvest is a collection of fruit trees that are ideal for the home gardener. You can be assured that they will perform exceptionally well as these fruit trees have been hand-picked by experts! All the varieties have been selected for their excellent taste, reliable fruiting ability, ease to grow and suitability for the smaller garden. In addition, they can be successfully planted in pots. Yes, you too can have fruit on your apartment patio! Oh they also make a great gift!

The end of the flowering season is approaching, so now we must clear these beauties to make room for other plants!

A popular perennial which produces long-lasting upright spikes to approximately 90cm of bright blue or white flowers held atop finely toothed, lance-shaped leaves which form a low rosette of foliage that flower right through until the end of Autumn.
Stunning new architectural plant featuring incredibly bold pink foliage which is a true show stopper! The rich tones of the foliage, which forms a clump and does not form a trunk, blend well with burgundy and deep greens. Perfect as a bold statement in the garden or as a bright pot subject. Easy care, prefers sharp drainage.
Don't have the space for a fruit tree? Think again!

These bags create compact
trees that fruit heavily and begin fruiting from a young age. The energy of the tree goes into fruit production rather than branches and leaves. They can be used above or below ground so you can move your trees easily if you need to. Fit more trees in less space. They have the benefit of stopping vigorous trees from outgrowing their situation and keeping their roots out of pipes, foundations, and underground cables. The fruit is easy to harvest and easily netted to protect your harvest from bird damage. Sizes available 20L, 30L and 40L.
  • Great for all herbs, leafy greens and root vegetables.
  • Ideal when containment growing is desired - Perfect for mint, tomatoes, capsicums and eggplants.
  • Rubber handles for easy movement
  • Hard plastic base for durability with drainage holes to prevent flooding
