April 2020 Bulletin

A note from the PCB Board of Directors

We hope you and your loved ones are doing well, and managing as best you can during these uncertain times. Our main priority for the coming months and weeks will be to reschedule programs as possible, and continue to support our community as we can.

If you find yourself making books or print projects while home, please share them with us! Our Facebook page is most active, but we’ll be launching an Instagram account soon.

We wish you continued good health, and look forward to being together celebrating all things book arts later this year.
Edible Book Festival
Due to government restrictions and guidelines, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Edible Book Festival. We look forward to hosting this program again with our partners, The Soapbox: Community Print Shop & Zine Library in 2021.
PCB/Free Library Workshops
The remaining workshops will be postponed or rescheduled to occur during the 2020/21 season. Alina Josan, PCB Board Member and Free Library Liaison, will be in touch with registrants directly.

We will also put out a call for workshop proposals in the coming weeks - this information will be sent out via this newsletter, posted to our website, and shared across our social media platforms.
Artists' Working Group
The Artists' Working Group program is postponed for the time being. Susan Viguers will be in touch with participants once a new date is scheduled.
Annual Members Exhibition
Our Exhibition Committee is hard at work planning a virtual exhibition to be held later this year. Keep an eye out for announcements and more information about this later this summer.

We are also already planning a location for a formal exhibition in 2021 and will make announcements regarding this once details are confirmed.
