Upcoming Workshop
Longstitch with Karen Lightner
Saturday, March 9, 2019
10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Registration opens today at 12:00 PM

Called long-stitch because of the long stitches visible on the spine of the book, this non-adhesive binding technique dates back to the Middle Ages. Participants will be taught the basic sewing technique and will make an all-paper model that they can take home.

Materials will be provided but if you have your own scissors, awl, bone folder, pencil, ruler, bookbinding needle, cutting mat, Japanese hole punch, or portable punching cradle, please bring them.
