Kia Ora from Eastwest College

Kia ora! Can you believe it's nearly October?! We welcome the arrival of Spring here in New Zealand. The blossoming trees and daffodils around the campus remind us that God is Creator and He is sovereign—and although these times may look uncertain, we cling to Him. He is our rock and His truth is the solid ground our feet are firmly planted on!

We'd love to hear how your year is going, and how we can be praying for you. Feel free to hit the 'reply' button and message us, and join us over on social media, where we post regularly. Blessings to you,

The Eastwest Team

Block Course - Secular Humanism

Lewis Varley will be teaching a Block Course next term on secular humanism. This will be such an interesting week and we especially encourage those in ministry leadership to attend. We have reduced the cost down to $220 for the week, including morning tea + lunch. More details are available on our website.

Te Wiki o te Reo Māori

We recently celebrated Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), along with the rest of Aotearoa 🥳🙌 It's an annual week to get New Zealanders experiencing te reo Māori. We love incorporating this beautiful language into life here at Eastwest, and you can head over to our social media to see the te reo Māori content we shared 👍

We're now taking applications for 2021 and would love your support in spreading the word about Eastwest College.

2020 has been a tough year and many people are looking for something meaningful in the next season of their lives—and we believe Eastwest College can be that. We've been training Christians to live in intercultural settings for over 20 years and we want to see the next generation of Christians in Aotearoa be trained up for missions.

If you know someone who has a heart for missions, we'd love you to encourage them to consider Eastwest College. Our heart in equipping students is summed up in this whakataukī (proverb): Mā te huruhuru ka rere te manu - "Adorn the bird with feathers so it may soar." 🦅

We're also interested in attending events and meeting more churches and ministries, so please let us know of events or gatherings we can be involved with.

Ngā manaakitanga (Best wishes)
