NENA News and Events - June/July 2019

Hi everyone!

We hope you're well, and enjoying your winter, wherever you live across this beautiful continent of ours.  NENA volunteers have had another busy month: developing NENA's Geographic and Sectoral Hubs; creating NENA Hub Strategies for inclusion in the Annual NENA Strategic Plan; preparing the New Economy Journal; organising the 2019 Annual Conference in Perth in October; organising evening seminars around Australia and continuing to build our membership base.

EVENTS THIS WEEK! We're excited about the NENA Newcastle Hub's first event - a 1 Day Workshop and MapJam this Saturday 13th July. If you're in Newcastle or the Hunter Region, we hope you can join us! And don't miss our fantastic webinar THIS WED NIGHT - about the Green New Deal. Please scroll down for the details.

NENA ELECTIONS - We're also pleased to share the 2019 NENA Election Guide, which is now available on the NENA website.  The NENA Board of Directors will be sharing all the election news with our NENA Membership via emails and via our NENA Members Workspace (accessible on the NENA website), so if you're a current member, please keep an eye out for regular updates in the lead up to the elections for the NENA Board of Directors, the Strategic Directions Group and the Participatory Budget Group.  If you're not yet a NENA Member, please join up here to become part of our growing network of amazing people who are building a new economy that puts people and planet first.

Please scroll down for an overview of all NENA news and events, and as always, please get in touch if you have any questions, concerns or ideas to share!

All the best -
