Adapting Yoga for Special Populations

This picture was from when I taught yoga at the local jail, Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.  Since 2011, I have taught yoga & mindfulness for pretty much every population you can imagine: in the jail, drug court, for addiction, anger management, people on CalWORKs in poverty, domestic violence and sexual assault survivors, the homeless, mentally ill, emergency responders, kids from 1 to 17, and since 2003, lots of people who never told me what they had been through when I taught in yoga studios and gyms.

Wednesday 5/13, at 11am, I'm teaching yoga teachers particularly, but anyone who is interested, how to adapt your class for various populations.  If you'd like to expand your repertoire, and make a more meaningful impact for populations you may have life experience with, especially once this pandemic ends, please join me.

If you are considering getting your Trauma Informed Yoga & Ayurveda certification, this is one of the requirements.

Join me here with your Covid discount: $37 for an hour and a half class!
