What a winter! In our region, it’s been like winter spring winter.... and this second winter sure is a doozie! And another ten days of rain & snow are in the extended forecast....Hope it hasn’t been too rough for you- all a good invitation to spend more time by the fire drinking hot tea or doing restorative yoga!
And if you are interested in Trauma Informed Self Care- from Mindfulness to Movement to Ayurveda, I am teaching tomorrow night (2/6) at Sierra Nevada Children’s Services from 6:30-8:30. It is mainly for parents & childcare providers, but has a few seats left, and it is open to the public. You may be able to join by Skype as well. Contact Lucia if you are interested: 530-272-8866, ext 225 or email or register to come in person at
I’ve been exploring teaching three classes a week this last month and it has been a little rough on my son who only takes a bottle after much upset every time. So I’m glad it has been a slow trek back to limited work so far. Another class starts this week, and another later this month.
The MeToo workshop ends this week, and it has been rich with opportunities for growth! I love it and look forward to being part of it in many more iterations. We also may create another class with slightly different content, as it seems there may be a need to have more support processing the anger at this administration, and how that abuse of power has trickled down to smaller scale entitlement everywhere.
Lastly, if you are in the Sacramento area, I am teaching another TI Ayurvedic Self Care class 4/20 at the Yoga Seed Collective, a fabulous TI yoga studio! I am so glad they exist! So mark your calendar and stay in touch.
Stay warm and enjoy the last of this season before spring springs and all the business it brings!
