You are invited to join us at our annual AMBIEs Awards Ceremony so that we can properly thank you for all of your dedicated and passionate service. You are not only very important friends to Granite State Ambassadors, the tourism industry is very thankful for all you are doing to learn even more about their businesses and the entire state during our mandated down-time.

We are excited to announce that we were able to reschedule our annual AMBIEs Awards Luncheon to an incredibly beautiful and spacious outdoor venue, Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge NH. The awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, September 22nd at 10am at the Cathedral of the Pine's Altar of the Nation which has a panoramic view of Grand Monadnock and the Cathedral's charming gardens.

Please view our AMBIES information page for more information: SIGN UPS ARE OPEN!

In addition to our earned hours awards, we have several peer awards. These peer awards are NOT determined by the GSA staff - recipients are chosen from nominations made from our GSA volunteers, partners, friends and industry members. Your thoughtful nominations are reviewed by all the past 'GSAs of the Year,' and after careful consideration of each and every one, they make their decisions. It's always so hard to choose a select few and as you can imagine, this meeting sometimes goes on for hours!

With that said, please take a moment to nominate at least one fellow GSA or center manager. It means so much and really makes our event special. We've listed the peer awards and have included a listing of past recipients on the AMBIEs webpage You will receive 1 administrative hour for each complete nomination you submit.

Need a replacement badge?
If you have already received your permanent badge and need a replacement, you can place your order via our online store now. Badge orders MUST be received by August 21. You can make payment by check, cash or card (debit is preferred over credit - lower fees for us). New earned badges will be ordered automatically.

The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire is looking for volunteers.
Volunteer Open House Monday August 17th

GSA has approached the museum about becoming an official GSA member center. If you think that you would be interested in volunteering at this location now or in the future, please let Kelly know asap to help them make their decision. Regardless, you are invited to attend their open house.

Want to join a community of people who enjoy aviation? Would you like to make a difference, help a good cause and have fun doing it? Then you're invited to attend the Aviation Museum of New Hampshire's upcoming volunteer open house on Monday, Aug. 17 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

You'll meet several of our current volunteers, and learn about the many ways volunteers help the Aviation Museum carry out our mission. The open house will be held at the museum, 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry. Face coverings will be required; the facility is compliant with all local and CDC Covid-19 guidelines.

Volunteers perform a wide range of functions:

• For the museum's main exhibit floor, volunteers greet guests at the front desk, lead tours, and help staff our gift shop.

• For our historical archive, they help evaluate donations, catalog items, and help researchers.

• For our education outreach program, they help inspire young people of all ages about the physics of flight and the wonders of aviation.

• For administration, volunteers help with memberships, fundraising, communications, and building maintenance.

• Technically-minded volunteers help with the museum's IT systems; those with aviation experience manage the museum's Elite Flight Simulator, although anyone can be trained to operate it.

• Those with mechanical or engineering experience may be interested in helping the Aviation Museum's innovative student plane-build partnership with the Manchester School of Technology.

Attendance is limited to 15 people. Call in advance for more info or to reserve space: (603) 669-4820.

The Aviation Museum of N.H., located at 27 Navigator Road, Londonderry, N.H., is a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization.

Masks: We’ve had several inquiries about GSA logo’d masks. Because of liability concerns and knowing that a GSA, if given the choice, will generally choose the GSA logo’d mask to feel ‘in uniform,’ I am not putting forth an official mask option. I want you to wear the mask that YOU have chosen - that you feel safest and most comfortable in - that fits you properly… if someone got sick and felt that our mask (perceived as required or not) was to blame, our organization couldn’t take the hit right now.

That being said, DF Custom Embroidery has made some GSA logo’d masks at the request of a GSA. They can be made with or without a filter pocket and start at $15 ea. Again, these are not official GSA uniform and just another option for you. We also have GSAs who are sewing masks and you can reach out to Kelly to get one (no cost). Both options are NOT medical grade and are considered dust masks. Hannaford has multi-packs of disposable masks as well and I’m starting to see these in many other stores.

I’ve seen face shields at Staples and Ocean State Job Lots for $5 ea.
