Labor Organizing 101: How to Form a Union Part II

Miami DSA and Florida Future Labor Leaders are working in coalition on a series of workshops to offer you the resources and in-person training to form a union in your workplace. This is our second such workshop, which will be held at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church on September 24th. We will walk you through each step of the process, while also offering a history of the labor struggles in South Florida. It's a history you'll be proud to join.

Political Education Reading Group: Red State Revolt

Join Miami DSA's Political Education Working Group for a conversation about how we can build a movement capable of contesting political power. We'll be reading Jonathan Matthew Smucker's Hegemony How-To, a practical guide to political struggle for a generation that is deeply ambivalent about questions of power, leadership, and strategy.

Message us if you would like a free copy of the ebook! You can buy the book at this link: https://www.akpress.org/hegemonyhowto.html.

You can also hear Smucker talk about his book on The Dig podcast: https://www.blubrry.com/jacobin/42173613/the-dig-hegemony-how-to-with-jonathan-matthew-smucker/

See you there!
