CHAMPIONS LEAUGE IN GTA

WHAT A WEEKEND, WHAT A TEAM, WHAT A COMMUNITY!
We've now won two trophies this year (so far!) and seen record member growth and engagement among our LFC Toronto family. I can't thank you enough for the support you've shown all season! But, that leads us to some important news and information on the season's final match: The Champions League Final.
Despite our desire and best efforts to host and manage the Champions League final at our home pub, the Madison, we cannot execute a quality member experience there. And, as a result, we've made some changes for the final match of the season.
As a reminder, when you elected us, we promised you full transparency and the best membership experience in growing OLSC Toronto to be the best in the world, and so here is our update.
1. It came to our attention that people were allowed to pay to reserve tables at this venue, circumventing our member process (and reducing the capacity of how many of you we could allow in), and keeping our commitment to member-first experiences.
2. The venue could not accommodate our request to reserve the full pub for our fans or allow our valued members to be first into the pub on the day of the CL final.
Ultimately, our goal is to deliver a fair and inclusive matchday experience, the Liverpool way. And that just couldn't be achieved on this day at this pub.
As a result, below are our plans for our official Champions League watch parties on March 28th, 2022 (Kick-off: 3 PM).
- ELEPHANT & CASTLE, KING STREET: Doors open for Members* at Noon, Non-Members (space permitting) at 2:00 PM.
- SLYE FOX, BURLINGTON: Doors open for Members* at Noon, Non-Members (space permitting) at 2:00 PM.
- NEW: If you're unable to get into our regular pubs above, we've negotiated a 'buy out' at the LOOSE MOOSE on Front Street, which will act as an overflow pub for the thousands of Liverpool FC fans across the GTA to gather and celebrate together! There's a capacity of approximately 700 LFC fans here, and we know it will be a huge party. Doors open at Noon for members and non-members alike at this pub.

Members attending the watch parties at our official pubs, Elephant & Castle and Slye Fox, will benefit from special member promos and an after-party, including complimentary raffle tickets to win big prizes!
*Notes: We do not sell or authorize tickets to be sold for these events. Access is free to all, space permitting, on a first-come, first-serve basis. For early member access to Elephant & Castle or Slye Fox, LFC Toronto Members must show their digital membership card and a Gov't-issued ID. Please queue in the LFC Toronto Member line before the doors open for some special treats.
