Space Simulation Conference
Submit Your Proposal By August 1
31st Annual Space Simulation Conference
“60 Years and Counting: Providing Excellence in Space Environmental Testing” October 17-20, 2022 · Annapolis, Maryland
The Space Simulation Conference, hosted by IEST, is a major international biannual forum in space hardware environmental testing for research, development, and mission qualification. It provides a unique opportunity for engineers, technicians, and scientists from aerospace industries, government agencies, and academia to present and exchange information and ideas on simulating the space environments and related challenges for the development and testing of space mission hardware. Space Sim is co-sponsored by IEST, NASA, ASTM, Canadian Space Agency, and The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory.
Submit your presentation idea for a technical conference session related to space hardware environmental testing. Topic areas include:
New or refurbished facilities
Molecular contamination, outgassing and effluents
Data acquisition and analysis
Novel testing requirements and approaches
Environmental testing in simulated lunar and martian environments
Integration of commercial practices into testing
Combined environmental testing – thermal-dynamic, thermal-deployment, space debris and micrometeoroid impact
Environmental testing for space applications – electromagnetic, structural dynamic and space simulation
Experimental heat transfer and thermal coatings for spacecraft
There will be three days of technical sessions preceded by one day of tutorials on environmental testing techniques. Register by Oct. 11 for the best rates. Become an IEST member or add an IEST member renewal for even more savings!
There is no substitute for peer-to-peer interaction to help accelerate your sales process. Tell customers face-to-face about your new products and services when you exhibit at the Space Simulation Conference. Deadline is Oct. 1.
