IEST is the only organization that exclusively serves professionals responsible for: the design, test, evaluation, and reliability of products and systems; the detection, measurement, and control of forms of contamination associated with and resulting from manufacturing, biomedical, and industrial operation; and the science, engineering, and technology conducted at the nanoscale, with an emphasis on the facilities that serve nanotechnology research and development. We help develop, write, and publish industry recommended practices through our Working Groups as well as hold conferences and training classes.
