Summer 2018
Each edition of “In View of Grace” brings you news about our ministry in theological education. In this issue:

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice."  Philippians 4:4

From President Bullock:
ON CAMPUS: The Quad has undergone a renovation over the summer. As you may know, the historic Ash trees had to be removed due to disease. We salvaged one of the trees which has been sculpted into the form of an 11' Spartan, and students and alums will now be able to purchase hand-crafted ink pens in the Babka Bookstore which have been produced from some of the salvaged Ash trees. With these changes, Tom Oslund is redesigning the Quad for a new generation and is designing a new South Quad which will occupy the large green space south of the Charles C. Myers Library and to the west and east, respectively, of the Charles and Romona Myers Center and Heritage Center. We hope to have the South Quad completed during the summer of 2019. As part of those changes, the Laube Belltower will be disassembled, and a new Laube campanile, with salvaged elements from the old tower, will be constructed on the new South Quad.
