The COVID 19 pandemic
We are all in this together...
with a degree of separation.

It seems like overnight our entire world has changed.  With those changes have come cancellations and adjustment to just about every aspect of what we have grown accustomed to as our "normal" lives.  So in this issue will be updates of the status of local and regional events and rides.  We will provide you with information and resources for keeping active during she shelter-in-place statewide order.  In a way of distracting from the 24/7 news cycles and updates we also have some links to some binge-worthy cycling related media.

We've also included information to help parents introduce the freedom and love of cycling to their children as families head to local bike paths and recreational trails for fresh air.
Advocacy... is working for us.

With that regard, here is the text relevant to cycling as well as bike shops as essential businesses:

        e. Gas stations and businesses needed for transportation. Gas stations and auto-supply, auto-repair, and related facilities and bicycle shops and related facilities;

Only a month or so ago, most of the world was watching events in China and South Korea and hoping that the coronavirus would stay contained. About three weeks ago, we started to prepare in earnest for some significant changes to our daily lives. Last week, we had to act and put those plans into motion. We are all working from home, keeping our distance, and getting on with the important work of building more resilient communities for everyone....
