Good morning <<First Name>>

I'm happy to report that I'm back in the land of the living.  I had a ureteroscopic lithotripsy procedure on Tuesday of last week and the brilliant surgeons at Frimley Park Hospital lasered the troublesome kidney stone into silt, (having taken a sample of it first).  I really can't praise them highly enough, if you've got to be ill - make sure the ambulance heads that way (if you're conscious and you can make a choice).

I was lucky enough to secure the wonderfully talented Holly Mills to cover for me while I was recouperating so I don't now have a giant backlog of clients to catch up on. Which is utterly brilliant and brings us neatly to next week.

Royal Ascot is always a royal pain in the ass for me.  You can't get to pick up because the coaches start pouring in at about 11 and then the traffic starts building again just before the last race when the smart people get out early around 4 pm.  However, having said that, this year there are no silly driving restrictions being set up as there are only 10,000 guests each day.  So I am open, Monday - Thursday.  I'm having work done to the front of the house but I've been assured that that won't in any way impact my grooming.

The next bit is for a client I spoke to recently. (You know who you are ❤️).  As usual, I work on the hypothesis that if one person didn't know, I'm there will be others out there who would also benefit from seeing the same stuff.  If it's not your cup of tea scroll on by, (no offence intended) to the appointment list at the bottom.

This is what's kept me sane for the last 15 months. I've just finished a brilliant book on Audible, called A State of Fear by Laura Dodsworth.  She examines why the government deliberately frightened all of us (some to the point of suicide). She explores the behavioural science teams behind SAGE, what they were told to do and how they did it.  Once you have woken up to this happening, you can't unsee it ... and you realise that this subliminal messaging (sometimes not so subliminal) is absolutely everywhere. I don't know about you, but I'm always happier knowing what's happening, because I can deal with it then.  If you can get hold of a hard copy, do so - they sold out of the first three print runs instantly and it's in a 4th print run now.  I listened to it on Audible.

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday lunchtimes the UK Column News streams live from their website.  About an hour later, their news programme is available to watch in your own time.  If the only news you've seen for the last 13 months has been from the BBC, congratulations for not topping yourself.  They've left a LOT out.  Take the freedom marches in London for instance.  It didn't get any coverage yet nearly a million people marched through the streets of London peacefully protesting our loss of freedoms.

If the radio is more your cup of tea - have you heard of "Talk Radio"? They have interesting/heavyweight guests on and presenter Julia Hartley Brewer (the morning show) is completely unafraid of addressing what's going on!  You can listen to it or watch it online using the link above.

If you want to receive more links like this, please sign up to Trisha Longworth's (BSc Hons  LCH  MCH  RSHom (retired)) email list here:  Just drop her an email and tell her I sent you 😉.

Finally, remember please, you're not going mad and you're certainly not alone.  There's a Stand In The Park meeting at the Totem Pole in Virginia Water this Sunday from 10 - 11 if you want to join in and I'm always here for a chat if you need me.

This is what the next couple of weeks look like currently.
