State Solo Registration
As District Solo/Ensembles are being completed and we start looking forward to State, I want to remind you of a couple of things.
- District Chairs, please remember that I need the priority lists, including alternates, within a week (or so) of your event. Delays here just cause delays later, and causes problems giving me insufficient time to notify alternates.
- Teachers - please DO NOT register your students unless they are qualified. Top 3 vocalists and top 2 instrumentalists from each District automatically qualify. I will inform teachers of alternates as they come up. Please DO register those qualified as soon as possible. It is difficult for me to get a schedule set up if I don't have students registered in a timely manner. - If you have specific request for performance times, email me ASAP. I try my best to accommodate everyone, but it is a first come, first serve basis on that. This year, we will most likely have some String solos (or ensembles) performing Friday evening as well as some vocal solos.
- There is an invoice on the website if you need one. Checks should be sent to me at Eva Hale, Buhl High School, #1 Indian Territory, Buhl, ID 83316 Please be sure to include names of students that the check applies to. If I get a check for 4 students and have 5 listed for that school, I don't know who should be left out. Fees must be postmarked by April 25th to qualify for the early bird fee of $45/event.
