NZALT 2022 Conference:
Saturday 9 - Tuesday 12 July, Otepoti - Dunedin
Welcome to the launch of our registration process for the NZALT 2022 Conference to be held over the first weekend of the July holidays, 2022 in Dunedin.
We will open the conference on Saturday 9 July at 6 pm at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery with a guest speaker and refreshments, and close at mid-day Tuesday 12 July.
Registration packs will be available from 6 pm in the entrance foyer. Conference participants will be able to visit the Art Gallery prior to the opening.
Conference Dinner will be held on Monday 11 July. The cost for dinner is included in the registration fee.

Remember to renew your NZALT membership before registering, so that you can take advantage of the cheaper membership registration prices.
There will be thirty awards of $750 available to language teachers throughout New Zealand to assist them with travel and accommodation costs for the NZALT 2021 Conference. An application form can be found here.

All information about the different types of presentations, as well as how to make a submission, can be found here.
We are able to confirm that our Key Speakers are as follows:
Paulette Tamati-Elliffe - Her keynote speech will be on Sunday 10 July followed by a workshop.
Sir Ian Taylor - He is the keynote speaker on Tuesday 12 July and will also offer a workshop on his online resources for teachers of New Zealand.
Language Immersion Day
The Language Immersion Day will take place on Saturday 9 July prior to the opening ceremony on Saturday evening. This is being organised by Tui Tuia | Learning Circle. There will be workshops for all languages at John McGlashan College. Please contact Tui Tuia | Learning Circle if you have any questions about this day.
