NZALT 2022 Conference: Saturday 9 - Tuesday 12 July, Otepoti - Dunedin
Registration
The due date for Early Bird registrations has been extended to 6 May. To register for the NZALT 2022 Conference, please go to the NZALT 2022 Conference site. Here you will find full details of the cost of registration, dates, submissions and further information about travel and accommodation awards.
Remember to renew your NZALT membership before registering, so that you can take advantage of the cheaper membership registration prices.
Accommodation
Since our conference launch we have had several events confirmed in Dunedin on the same weekend. We would therefore recommend booking flights and accommodation soon as places are booking out fast and prices are increasing.
We are also in the process of securing additional hostel accommodation in Dunedin to help lower accommodation costs. We will send another update as soon as details are confirmed. In the meantime, more information can be found on our Accommodation page.
Awards
The NZALT Awards close on April 14 (Thursday of last week of term 1). There will be thirty awards of $750 available to language teachers throughout New Zealand to assist them with travel and accommodation costs for the NZALT 2022 Conference. An application form can be found here.
Reminder for Submission
We are looking forward to receiving your submissions for proposals. Please see our website for more details on submitting your proposal.
Language Immersion Day
Tui Tuia | Learning Circle Immersion Day will take place on Saturday 9 July at John McGlashan College. Please be aware that there may be a change in start time to accommodate delegates arriving Saturday morning.
Tui Tuia is planning to organise Immersion Days for the following languages: Chinese, Cook Island Māori, French, German, Japanese, Korean, New Zealand Sign Language, Samoan, Spanish, Te Reo Māori and Tongan. It will depend on the number of registrations as to whether all of the various Language Immersion Days can run. Please register here for the Immersion Day.
