Engage, Support, and Uplift Every Organist
Message from the Sub-Dean
Miranda Wilcox

Dear Friends,

Many thanks to Tyler Anderson and associates for hosting our chapter at the Alpine Tabernacle in January. We enjoyed learning about and playing the Austin Organ, Opus 1130, which has 3 manuals, 23 ranks, and 1620 pipes. The organ was initially installed in 1923 and renovated in 2017-2018 by Anderson Organ Works of Logan, Utah.

Congratulations to chapter member Dr. Neil Harmon for his wonderful Eccles recital last month.

Please invite young musicians to attend Pedals, Pipes, and Pizza on Saturday, February 8, from 10:00 am to noon. Ruth Eldredge Thomas and Sarah Reed are hosting the activity at their home (883 N 1200 E, Provo), which happens to be where the UVAGO chapter was founded. The children will learn about how organs work and then have an opportunity to play the organ. Pizza and fruit will be provided at the end of the activity. RSVP:

Our annual Bach Birthday recital is coming up on Friday, March 21, at the Provo Central Stake Center. If you would like to play in the recital, please contact Heidi Rodeback at and give her the information for the piece you would like to play.

Have a wonderful month!
