Built Environment Plus Seeking Fall Interns - Remote Position!
Do you want to help make every building in the world (at least in Mass.) a green building? Would you like to participate on the inside of the movement with us at Built Environment Plus?
As an intern for Built Environment Plus, you will be doing a variety of tasks, from supporting day to day work, small research projects, and media design tasks. Internships with Built Environment Plus are fairly general, and projects are chosen based on interest. You will be able to put the final products in your portfolio to show others your skills and your expanding knowledge base related to the green building industry. We will also help you build connections across the state among green building professionals. We especially encourage students from community colleges to apply.

Healthy Air Guidelines Petition Delivered to WHO
Thank you to everyone who joined us in urging the World Health Organization (WHO) to adopt and advance indoor environment best practices proven to help protect building occupants worldwide from the spread of COVID-19. The petition has been delivered, and 3BL Media has released a statement about the campaign.

Learn About the BERDO Building Emissions Performance Standard
The City of Boston has launched a process to update the Building Energy Reporting and Disclosure Ordinance (BERDO) and they want all BERDO covered building owners, managers, tenants, and other parties to be part of this process. The City of Boston will be hosting two webinars on August 18th and 20th to introduce the community to the building emissions performance standard. Register below:

BuildingEnergy Boston is Going Virtual!
The BuildingEnergy Boston Conference + Trade Show is an event designed by and for practitioners in the fields of high-performance building and design, energy efficiency, and renewable energy. It brings more than 1,000 industry leaders and emerging professionals together to learn from and share ideas with each other. The theme of BuildingEnergy Boston 2020 is Transforming Existing Buildings, with additional emphasis on decarbonization and on bringing more diverse communities into the discussion. This year's event has been rescheduled and will now take place as a virtual conference and trade show, Wednesday through Friday, August 12-14, 2020.

MassCEC Announces the Triple Decker Challenge - Up to $25,000 In Prizes!
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) is announcing the launch of the Triple Decker Design Challenge, which seeks design proposals for all-electric building retrofit approaches. Through the design challenge, MassCEC will be awarding nine prizes, ranging from $5,000 to $25,000.
Questions about the Invitation for Proposals are due by August 15, 2020 at 5 P.M. Please send questions to TripleDeckerChallenge@masscec.com.
