Casey, Marketing and Graphics Associate, Says Goodbye to Built Environment Plus
Today is my last day with Built Environment Plus and the last newsletter to be addressed from me. It's been a great experience meeting and working with all the wonderful people who dedicate themselves to building a better world through sustainable design. Much has happened since I joined the team a year and a half ago: we launched our first conference, finalized the rebranding to Built Environment Plus, made the shift to virtual events. I never imagined that I would be celebrating my one year anniversary under lockdown! I've learned so much and I'm grateful for the professional experience I've gained from my time here. I wish everyone at Built Environment Plus the best of luck!
Best,
Casey | Reach out on LinkedIn

The 2019 Summary of the AIA 2030 Commitment Has Been Published
AIA recently made their annual summary available, which examines the sustainable commitment of 20,331 projects. The summary notes that "building sector carbon dioxide emissions are down 21% since 2005 even though more than 47 billion square feet of built space have been added in the United States since then. The majority of this improvement happened after AIA started collecting 2030 Commitment project data in 2010."
