Yesterday was week 13 of our broadcasting of the worship services. 13 weeks! When this all began I thought we would be worshipping in person for Easter. Then that moved to Mother's Day, and now it won't happen for Father's Day. Sib Law has been wonderful in providing FPC his own camera equipment and technical expertise in editing the video. However, as we move forward and hopefully will be worshipping together again soon, we can't expect Sib to be here each week. We need to find someone else (or 2) who can help us film the worship service. Sib will help train you if you are willing and interested. Please call the church office or shoot us an email if you are interested. We would love to have you involved.
Stay safe and God’s blessings,
FPC Graduates were recognized yesterday and are pictured below.

New Bible Study starting this Wednesday,
June 17 at 10:30 amand 7:00 pm. One (The Woodlawn Study)
In 1973, Birmingham, AL was torn by racism and hate. God worked through the Woodlawn High School football team to unite the city and ignite a spiritual awakening. This revival was nothing short of miraculous. Could it happen again? ONE(The Woodlawn Study) features powerful scenes and exclusive footage from the movie Woodlawn to discover the answer...it only takes one person to start a revolution. What if that person is you? With teaching by Pastors Dave Stone and Dr. Tony Evans, ONE(The Woodlawn Study) prepares your heart to experience and embrace a move of God.
The Reason for God study continues for three more weeks. This Right Now Media study captures live and unscripted conversations between Rev. Keller and a group of people to address their doubts and objections to Christianity. Using literature, philosophy, and Scripture, Keller and the group explore the truth of Christianity.
• Why Does God Allow Suffering?
• Why Is the Church Responsible for So Much Injustice?
• How Can God Send Good People to Hell?
Join Bridget Perry and Clare Schimpf for an hour every Monday at 4:00 pm for six weeks starting May 18. We will watch a 20 minute video online followed by a 40 minute discussion via Zoom*. all are welcome.
Presbytery Summer Book Club
Our Presbytery would like to invite everyone in PSNE into a summer of reflection through a book study. Our primary text will be The Person You Mean to Be: How Good People Fight Bias by Dolly Chugh who teaches social psychology at the NYU Stern School of Business.
Children's virtual Sunday School
Our theme for June 2020 is Focus– take a closer look. We'll be reading stories from the book of Acts and using scripture from Hebrews to dive deep into what it means to have faith. All month we'll be exploring how we can trust in what we can't see and how that changes the way we see everything!
"Faith is being sure of what we hope for. It is being sure of what we do not see." -Hebrews 1:11
