A Message from the Worship Committee
During the month of August, our Worship services will continue to be recorded for viewing on Sundays.  Tom has prerecorded a sermon for this Sunday. Peter Mitchell will be providing a message for August 16 and 23.  Plans for August 30 and September 6 are still being finalized. Laurie, Kayla Cook and Jamie Ratcliffe will continue to provide the music with various lectors leading the service. Tune in as usual on Sundays at 10 a.m.

The Trustees are hard at work this week preparing the manse for Pastor Penza and his family.

Trustees still need help this week! We need some volunteers to remove damaged shutters and hang replacement shutters, hang indoor blackout shades in the children's bedrooms, check that all baseboards are secure, and various other minor handyperson activities. Please call/text or email if you can help:

A Message from the Reopening Team
The Reopening team has been hard at work to plan for the resuming of in-person worship services.   The anticipated  reopening is  Rally Day, September 13.  In order to successfully adhere to the protocols required, we are in need of volunteers who will help with some simple tasks such as check in, temperature scans,  and providing directions on how to enter and exit the sanctuary.  Volunteers will receive training on these activities.

If you would like to volunteer to support the successful reopening, please contact the church office or directly contact a member of the Reopening team:  Julian Brix, Maria Lindsay, Ivy McKinney, or Bill Schimpf.
