Happy Holidays! It's been a while, but here we are. And we made you a gift guide! 12 Houston made goods and ideas that support local businesses. We hope your December is filled with joy and we'll see you next year!
1. Chauncey and Coco jewelry, handmade and designed by a team of sisters. Caroline recently discovered this company and now has about 10 pairs of earrings on her wish list. Find in store at Forth & Nomad.
2. Texas barware set from Paris Texas Apparel Co.
3. Rainy Day Illustration flour sack kitchen towels. Find in store at Manready Mercantile.
4. Check out the Houston gear at Proper on 19th. We like their cursive dad hats
5.
Houston Home Plate coasters by Manready Mercantile. Let's be honest, this entire store is gift jackpot, but we particularly dig their home plate line. Bonus: they serve up a killer Old Fashioned in store.

6. Custom guayabera from Dos Colinas. Mark has a gift card for one that we can't wait to cash in.
7. Twisted Arrow Goods pine mixing bowl hand crafted from a pine tree that fell in Spring Branch during Hurricane Harvey. Swing by their new Oak Forest shop to see more unique goods!
8Sir Winston's Spiced Simple Syrup by Statesmen Beverage. Find in store at Forth & Nomad. In case you missed it, we interviewed founder Bob Sutton in Issue 7.
9. Free food! Sometimes a gift card is a weak effort, but we'd argue never in the case of a great meal on someone else's dime. A few ideas: Squable, Penny QuarterRosie CannonballTropicales, Nancy's Hustle, La Lucha, Superica. The options are honestly never ending!
10. Speaking of food...
Montrose Cheese & Wine is full of great gifts. Like cheese...and wine...
Plus, they have some great pre-made gift baskets.

11. Tickets to a concert at Heights Theatre. Notable upcoming shows: Marc Broussard (Feb 22 & 23), The Lone Below (Feb 26), Anderson East & Foy Vance (together on stage Feb 29!)
12. A round at the newly renovated Memorial Golf Course.
Featured listings! Two new construction homes by Royal Texan in Upper Kirby. 2621 & 2623 Greenbriar Drive. These 3 bed/3.5 bath townhouses are in an incredible location and offer spacious three-story floorplans with second-floor living and multiple covered balconies.
Listed at $1,099,000.
