County Executive Ball to Host Virtual Townhall Regarding Coronavirus Updates
Tonight at 6:30 pm  

Join Howard County Executive Calvin Ball for a Virtual Town Hall  to update residents on the government’s coronavirus response. Residents are encouraged to pre-register using link above. Residents can call in at 855-756-7520 ext. 57556#. The event will also be live-streamed online.

The Senate Passed a $2 Trillion Relief Bill as a Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic
This comprehensive package brings to bear the full resources of the federal government to protect the health and well-being of all Americans.  
Highlights include: 

  • Direct payments to citizens 
  • $500 billion lending program for businesses, states and municipalities 
  • Expanded unemployment benefits 
  • Suspension of student loan payments 
  • Loans for small business 
  • $100 billion to help hospitals

The Coalition for Government Procurement has prepared a list of resources for Federal contractors as the nation responds to the COVID-19 pandemic.  This list includes Federal agency guidance and contractor preparedness recommendations from the Legal community.
