Hue Noir Expands Product Line to Launch Hand Sanitizer

As consumers turn their attention towards essential personal care products during the pandemic coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis, Hue Noir, an Elevate Capital portfolio company, is determined to do their part for the well-being of its customers and the community at large.

On Friday, March 27, Hue Noir will launch a hand sanitizer as a new addition to its product line. Sanitizers will be available in 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz sizes for sale on the Hue Noir website for anyone that needs it.

“Given our unique capabilities to formulate and produce a wide variety of personal care products, we made the decision to pivot our production towards these types of products,” says Paula Hayes, Hue Noir Founder and CEO.

“Our first essential product is hand sanitizer. It is fairly easy for us to produce and given the current demand, need, and scarcity in the marketplace, we believe we can execute and launch quickly to provide this vital product during such a critical time for the health and well-being of our community and country,” adds Paula.

In addition to selling online, Hue Noir is currently working on commercial contracts for healthcare offices and other essential businesses that are working hard to keep their businesses going and their workforce as safe as possible during the coronavirus outbreak.

Tune In: Goumi to be featured on ABC's Shark Tank on March 27

On Friday, March 27 at 8 pm (PST) Portland-based children’s wear line Goumi (an Elevate Capital portfolio company) will be featured on ABC’s Shark Tank. What started eight years ago with the creation of baby mitts, Goumi has since introduced a children’s apparel line with beautiful, better-for-the planet clothing and, most recently, bedding and nursery accessories.

With the birth of her preemie daughter, Goumi founder Lili Yeo left her corporate career behind to focus on developing the absolute best essentials for babies to start their journeys, unlocking the power of our smallest.

Be sure to tune in to ABC on March 27 to see if any of the sharks’ bite.

And if you missed the Portland Business Journal article, Beaverton kids clothes maker prepares for a year of fast growth, read about Lili's entrepreneurial journey and how she “expects sales to double this year as new products come to market and sales channels expand at giant retailers such as Target.”
