Dear <<First Name>>,
Feelings, feelings, feelings. I've had a lottttt of feelings. Two of our interview subjects have had the coronavirus. One of them just tested positive. The other couldn't get tested even though he had all the symptoms.
Considering this is such a deadly virus and almost everyone we're filming is floxed, immunocompromised, etc, I'm worried about the safety of our community.
We can be super careful and take all of the precautions, but still catch the virus from grocery delivery or even from stepping into the grocery store.
I've been staying at home and being as responsible as possible. It's been almost a month of working from home now. However, I just moved, so we've needed to go to Lowe's in addition to the grocery store. We've had property managers, wifi installers, door lock replacers all enter our apartment for necessary things over the past week so even being as responsible as we are (washing produce with soap is super weird, you guys), we could still become infected.
Please reach out and let us know how you've been dealing with this as a floxie or as a friend of the floxie... as coronavirus-positive or not...
Also feel free to reach out if YOU want to submit a 'Floxed Friday.' We're running out of ideas.
I've also been finally reading Stephen Fried's "Bitter Pills" about his wife getting floxed and it is INCREDIBLE, so thank you to everyone who recommended that book. I highly recommend it as well.
Stay safe, you guys. Take your zinc and eat your garlic. Much love to you all during this strange, difficult time.
Have a great weekend!
Floxie, Director, and Producer of 'Floxed'
