We are $15,000 short of our marathon goal. The money we raise from the marathon is a crucial part of our school operating budget.

We are issuing a new challenge to raise $10,000! For every $20 that is turned in by November 21st, the student will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to SLIME a teacher!

Thank you to all students and parents for your support of our school marathon!

Classroom Highlights
1st Grade
The first graders endured the cold and had so much fun at Westwood Nature Center.  They got to touch a snake, see a flying squirrel, and learn about what an animal needs to live.
4th Grade
Fourth graders have been working hard on writing a personal narrative about a journey they have taken. They have been going through the steps of the writing process, which includes mapping out their ideas, writing a rough draft, doing revisions, and typing a final draft to include a dedication page, about the author page, and a picture page.

Fourth graders have also been having a blast learning about the states and capitals. So far, they have learned Northeast and Southeast states and will be adding in the Midwest states this week.

Spanish Class
Please join us for our annual Spanish Mass on Wednesday, November 20th at 8:30am.  Students have been working hard practicing songs, readings, responses and prayers in preparation for this day!  There will be a bilingual worship guide to help everyone follow along.  We hope you can join us for this very special morning!
