We are $15,000 short of our marathon goal. The money we raise from the marathon is a crucial part of our school operating budget.

We are issuing a new challenge to raise $10,000! For every $20 that is turned in by November 14th, the student will receive a raffle ticket to be entered into a drawing to SLIME a teacher! Teachers will be drawn at random to be slimed by the winning students!

Thank you to all students and parents for your support of our school marathon!
Lost and Found Notice

Our Lost & Found is overflowing! There are lots of hats, sweaters, jumpers, etc. that have been accumulating. Please stop by the lost and found at parent-teacher conferences if you may be missing any items! The Lost & Found is located across from the After School Care Room.

Classroom Highlights
The Kindergarteners have been busy learning about pumpkins!  Last week, they invited a few parents and even one grandparent to their classrooms to carve pumpkins.  It was a blast and they turned out great!
Phy Ed Class

The students in grades 1-6 have been completing our fitness testing. Our testing includes push ups, curl ups, sit and reach, trunk lift and mile run (4-6 grades), pacer test (1-3 grades). The purpose of fall testing is for the students and Mrs. Cornish to know where they are at in their fitness level and what they need to work on before testing in the spring.

All the students are learning to not scream in the gym! The reason we have been learning not to scream is because...

  • screaming hurts our vocal cords
  • screaming hurts our classmates ears
  • screaming is not respectful to our classmates who have sensitivities to noise

It would be great if you, as parents, could help to reinforce with your children to not scream!
