Classroom Highlights
5th & 6th Grade
The 5th & 6th graders went to BizTown through Junior Achievement in St. Paul. BizTown is a simulated city where students are introduced to adult responsibilities for a day. By working in one of the several JA BizTown businesses, students learn  to run a quality business as a team. They also learn  to manage a debit card and checking account. It’s a day of real life working!  Good Shepherd has produced wonderful employees.
Computer Class
This fall students in grades 3-6 completed a keyboarding unit during computer class. During these units, students were challenged to learn how to type using proper technique including; using the correct fingers, typing without looking at their hands, posture, and eventually speed. Congratulations to Mateo Figueroa (6th grader) who completed his typing test at 100% accuracy and an outstanding speed of 45 words per minute!
