Classroom Highlights
4th Grade
Fourth Graders have been enjoying reading "The Mixed up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler." The story tells of two kids who run away from home to hide out in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While there, they discover a mystery within the museum and it becomes their mission to discover the truth. Besides from reading a fun and exciting story, fourth graders have explored themes such as dreams, self-reliance, and art.
Computer Class
The kindergarteners and first graders are getting ready for Valentines Day by coloring and creating valentines in computer class. We also got to try out the new SMART board for the first time during class. We loved being able to show our creativity on a big touch screen!
Wear clothes in Valentine's colors
(red, pink, purple, white) to school on Thursday, February 13th!

No hats. Please wear your uniform if you choose not to participate.
Don’t miss this opportunity to volunteer in the Good Shepherd lunchroom!

We understand between demanding work schedules, family responsibilities, household upkeep, errands and cooking for what feels like a small army, it may seem impossible to find the time to devote to being in another place at another time.  This opportunity is only from 11:15am to 1:00pm.

You can be more involved at the place where your kids spend most of the day.  It also allows you to see them interact with their friends and teachers.  Your kids and their friends will love seeing you at school and the best part is, lunch is on us!  Please come in and give it a try and let us know if it will work for you. Contact Renee Bergo at reneebergo@gsgvschool.org to get set up. Thank you for your consideration.
Our gala team needs your support!
Please consider donating an item to our silent auction or sponsoring a great gathering! If you need inspiration we have created a sign up genius with a list of ideas to kick off your creativity! Thank you for helping this year's gala be a success!
