The 2019 Good Shepherd Marathon Day was a BIG success!

Many thanks to all of you - families, extended families, teachers and staff Despite the rain and cold, it was a tremendous show of community and school spirit!
A very special shout out to Boy Scout Pack 350, the Knights of Columbus, the Men’s Club for hosting the phenomenal JAM Fest, and ALL our amazing volunteers who helped make this event happen. We could not have done it without you!!!

Teacher Conference Potluck : Heads Up November 6-7

Help Wanted!

Substitute Teacher: Good Shepherd is looking for people with an education background who would be interested in being an occasional sub in our building. Please contact Angie Ruehle at for more information.

Snow Shoveler: We are seeking a weekend (& Holiday) snow shoveler at Good Shepherd for this upcoming winter season. Main areas include the church entrances that are used for weekend masses and activities.  GS snowblower available to use on site as well. If interested please contact John Vella, Director of Maintenance, for more information:
Classroom Highlights
4th Grade
Fourth grade journeyed back in time during their field trip to Gibbs Farm. Students enjoyed hearing about life in the 1800’s and learning in a one-room school house. Life sure was different back then!
5th & 6th Grade
The 5th and 6th graders are preparing for their field trip to BizTown. After strong campaigning from a number of candidates, the citizens have elected Madelyn Poppler as mayor of BizTown!

Parents, You're Invited to attend a talk by Dr. Ray Guarendi on "Raising Virtuous Children in a Digital Age," Monday, October 21, at 2:15 p.m. in Providence Academy's Performing Arts Center
The talk will be offered free of charge.

Dr. Guarendi is a Catholic father, a clinical psychologist, author of 12 books, professional speaker, and national radio and television host. He has made numerous television  appearances, including The Oprah Winfrey Show and CBS This Morning, and is host of  Living Right With Dr. Ray, which can be seen on EWTN. His radio program,  “The Doctor Is In” can be heard on over 440 stations and on Sirius XM radio.
