The cold weather is here! Please remember to send snowpants, boots, hats, mittens and coat with your child every day. In addition to needing this gear for recess, students who are on the playground prior to entering school in the morning (7:45-8am) should have all their gear on. Thank you!
Chess Club Notes!
Schedule Change: Chess club will end at the end of February. The last 2 sessions in March are cancelled. The last day of Chess Club will be Thursday, February 27th.

We are still looking for volunteers to help out at chess club. Please email GSChessClub@gmail.com if you are interested!
Classroom Highlights
Kindergarten
The kindergarteners got to play with their sixth grade buddies this morning! They always look forward to getting to hang out with their “big” friends. It is hard to tell who enjoys playing with the toys more....the kindergarteners or the sixth graders!
5th Grade
The fifth graders are busy doing a literacy study on the historical fiction book Number the Stars by Lois Lowry. This book gives a glimpse of some of the challenges and courage that happened during WWII and the German occupation of Denmark. Students will spend time reading, questioning, writing and sharing about the book.
Please join us for Catholic Schools Week Masses!
Saturday, January 25th at 5pm
