Welcome to the November Update. I am thrilled to be the new Chair of DirectWomen. As a 2009 alumna of the Board Institute, I am excited to see what lies ahead for DirectWomen and women lawyers in the boardroom.
I would like to thank my predecessor, Denise F. Keane, for her service as Chair of the organization for the past two years. Denise has provided incredible leadership, and I am honored to have had the opportunity to serve alongside her as DirectWomen's Vice Chair. While Denise has certainly left big shoes to fill, I am happy to report that she will remain on the DirectWomen Board of Directors. Thank you for your selfless commitment to the mission of DirectWomen, Denise.
I would also like to thank DirectWomen's outgoing board member, Alan L. Beller, and welcome our new board members, Yen D. Chu and Maria C. Green. Click here to read DirectWomen's press release announcing the 2021 Board of Directors.
In this Update, you will find registration details for our upcoming webinar on "The New Normal of Global Corporate Board Membership" and news about the remarkable accomplishments of the members of our network.
