Message from the Chair

As this challenging year comes to a close, I'd like to say thank you for your ongoing support of DirectWomen's important mission. It is because of you, and all the members of our incredible network, that this organization has continued to grow, adapt, and thrive for more than a decade.

Like many charitable organizations, DirectWomen has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. However, we have refused to let the pandemic impede our efforts to advocate for women lawyers as board candidates. Instead, we created an ambitious slate of virtual programs to showcase women lawyer-directors and the importance of board diversity.

Momentum is building behind the movement to diversify corporate boardrooms. DirectWomen is well-positioned to advance this critical business imperative, but we need your help. This holiday season, please consider making a tax-deductible gift in support of DirectWomen's programming and ongoing commitment to diversity in the boardroom.

Along the way, hundreds of women and people of color have been added to candidate slates and approached about board service. This has spawned multiple simultaneous opportunities for a number of executives, often for the first time in their careers. Read the full article>>
