Message from the Chair

Happy New Year from DirectWomen! As we bid farewell to 2020, I would like to thank everyone who supported DirectWomen last year. Whether you are a sponsor, alumna, former honoree, volunteer, individual donor, event attendee, or all of the above, your passion and commitment played an invaluable role during a challenging time.

In 2020, DirectWomen celebrated the appointment of 20 alumnae to corporate boards - more than any other year in DirectWomen's history. We also hosted six virtual programs, which showcased women lawyer-directors and the importance of board diversity, and have five more virtual programs planned for the first half of 2021.

It is clear that momentum is building behind the movement to diversify corporate boardrooms, and DirectWomen is well-positioned to advance this critical business imperative. We look forward to your continued support as we join forces to advance our important mission in the year ahead.

Cheers to a hopeful 2021!
All the best,

Catharine Biggs Arrowood
Chair, DirectWomen

Thank You to Our 2020 Individual Donors

Thank you to all of our individual donors for your ongoing support of DirectWomen's important mission to increase the representation of women lawyers on corporate boards. It is because of you, and all the members of DirectWomen's incredible network, that this organization has continued to grow, adapt, and thrive for more than a decade.

Even though we were unable to host our largest fundraising event of the year, we were able to meet our financial obligations, thanks to the incredible outpouring of support from the DirectWomen network. Thank you!
