The past two years have been an exciting time for DirectWomen. More than 40 DirectWomen alumnae have been appointed to corporate boards. Every company in the S&P 500 has at least one woman on its board. The number of Russell 3000 companies with no women on their boards decreased by 25% in 2019. These and many other indicators paint a promising picture, but we must continue to work together to move the needle and achieve gender equality in the boardroom. |
