Message from the Chair

Welcome to the October Update. In this update, you will find registration details for our upcoming webinar on "Top Tips for Building Board Ready Connections" and news about the remarkable accomplishments of the members of our network.

The past two years have been an exciting time for DirectWomen. More than 40 DirectWomen alumnae have been appointed to corporate boards. Every company in the S&P 500 has at least one woman on its board. The number of Russell 3000 companies with no women on their boards decreased by 25% in 2019. These and many other indicators paint a promising picture, but we must continue to work together to move the needle and achieve gender equality in the boardroom.
