For 2023, the Friends of Jones Board is moving away from some of our traditional events and instead hosting a series of fundraising “test and learn” initiatives.  Our primary goal is to help identify different ways for all families to support Friends of Jones at a level that is appropriate and meaningful to them and to fundraise at levels to be able to continue to give back to the Jones community. 

On average, FOJ grants more than $250,000 each year to our community of students, faculty, staff, teams and clubs.  

For the 2022-2023 school year, the FOJ fundraising goal is $275,000 using a mix of initiatives, including: 

Annual Fund: The Annual Fund goal is $100,000 and kicked off in 2022 with outreach to all JCP families and continued with the “Love Your School” activities conducted the week of February 13.  To  date, we have collected approximately $65,000 against our overall Annual Fund goal.  It is not too late to give at a level meaningful to you. Help reach the goal and support the Jones community.
 
Events: FOJ has traditionally hosted various events to support fundraising, including a large Spring Gala event.  This year we are hosting smaller events that will help highlight key programs at JCP.  The first of these events was held in January where we raised approximately $11,000 for the Fine Arts and JCP, including support for the Spring Musical.
 
Online: The online auction will return in Spring 2023 with great items to bid on, including priceless Jones items such as VIP reserved tickets for 2023 Graduation and dedicated on-site parking for the 2023-24 school year.  In addition, FOJ will host a “Golden Ticket” raffle for a chance to win your choice of select high-demand auction items including two highly sought-after Taylor Swift tickets.  More details coming soon.
 
Joneswear and Banners: FOJ parent/guardian volunteers established an online store and host a variety of pop-up dates for in-person Joneswear sales throughout the year.  FOJ also has a limited inventory of street banners available for sponsorship by families and local businesses.  All proceeds from Joneswear and banner sales benefit FOJ and are invested back into our JCP community.
