Happy New Year Church Family!

We pray that the holiday season has been a blessing for you. As we look forward to having the first Sabbath of 2022 together, we wanted to share that your Littleton Church pastoral team is eager to start planning new and exciting ministry opportunities and events for the new year.  Sabbath, January 1, 2022 will start our brand new series on Jesus' disciples. To deepen your study of each disciple, we will provide study guides for you each Sabbath.  We will also have a study for the children too, which will also be available each Sabbath.  We hope you will join us!

This Sabbath, we are having in-person Sabbath schools and church service.  In light of surging Covid cases, we ask that if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms, that you enjoy church service online.  As a reminder, we do ask that you wear a mask to Sabbath schools and church service.

Thank you so much and we look forward to seeing you in 2022!

Littleton Church Pastoral Staff

Do you frequently become discouraged or disheartened when your spiritual life and/or witness suffers because of your sin or failure?  If so, it is easy to believe the lie that your worth and your value are very little.

Starting January 1, 2022, I invite you to journey along in the Word as we begin a new 11-week sermon series entitled "Follow Me." We will be reviewing the lives of the 12 disciples and Jesus' impact on their ministry as they devoted themselves to taking the gospel to the whole world.  These 12 men had no extraordinary talents, intellectual abilities, social status, or political influence to qualify them for the position.  Furthermore, they struggled with issues like pride, hate, doubt, and cowardice.  Talk about men who from an earthly perspective seemed of little worth and value. Yet Jesus used these 12 men to "turn the world upside down" (Acts 17:6) following His ascension.  And if Jesus could use these men, just think what He can through YOU!

The week before each sermon, you are encouraged to go through a specific Scripture reading or study guide (provided below).  The study below is on Peter, which will be for our sermon on January 8, 2022.   The 1st sermon, on January 1, has the correlated Scripture reading is Luke 4:14 - 6:16 (if you are really ambitious, you can supplement this with chapters 24-30 in The Desire of Ages).

Note: For the subsequent sermons you will be provided a link to a study guide in the newsletter and the church bulletin.  You can print off and complete the week before each sermon.  Hard copies of this study guide will also be provided each Sabbath.

Last day to give!  As we look toward our year-end financial goal, we ask that you consider donating to help us reach our target. If you believe in the ministry at Littleton Church, we would love your support!  With your assistance, we will keep making a mighty impact for God, here on earth.

Hello Church,

The church board has nominated church members to serve on the Pastoral Search Committee.  The committee will consist of 12 people.  I am currently calling the nominated individuals to ask them to serve and will share names when complete.  Please keep this process and the future of our church in prayer.

Best regards,
