As most states around the country are slowly opening up outdoor recreation opportunities, events like large dog shows and obedience trials are probably still a few months away. There are dog sports which are more likely to allow the necessary social distancing and can be organized on an informal basis for a limited number of people and dogs, and some can also be done solo. Here are some books that might get you started:
Super Sniffer Scent Games by Debby Kay.
Carting With Your Dog by Laura Waldbaum.
The Rally Course Book by Janice Death. On sale for $14.97.
Barn Hunt - A Game of Hide and Seek for Dogs by Eva Raczka and Deb Eldredge.
Try Tracking - The Puppy Tracking Primer by Carolyn Krause.
Rally On - A Training Manual for Rally Obedience by Marie Sawford.
Get The Ball Rolling - A Step by Step Guide to Training for Treiball by Dianna Stearns.
The Parker Videos by the National Association of Canine Scent Work.
