We are very pleased to have a great new book from our friend Clive Wynne, who also will be one of the featured speakers at the upcoming APDT Conference in Portland, Oregon starting October 30th. Clive's new book, Dog is Love - The Essence of What Makes Dogs Special, is getting great reviews and will be the subject of his closing keynote address at the conference on Saturday, November 2nd. Please note that the exhibit hall will only be open on Thursday and Friday, so if you want to buy his book and get it signed you need to do it during those two days - or, of course - buy it online before you head to the conference!

Also new in the human-animal bond field is the latest book from Alexandra Horowitz, Our Dogs, Ourselves - The Story of a Singular BondAlexandra won't be at the conference this year however.

We are also excited that two more authors associated with Dogwise Publishing will be at the conference this year, both featured presenters will be available to sign their books. Grisha Stewart, the author of the ground-breaking Behavioral Adjustment Training 2.0, a perennial best seller will be there along with Robin Bennett, author of All About Dog Daycare and the co-author of Off-Leash Dog Play.
