Lower Gallery - Richard Neal
"So much has changed in the world but still the Fens remain constant and resolute. I’m still out there interpreting the Fen landscape and people in paint and pencil in my own unique and humorous style."

Next Preview Evening - February 5th 6-8pm
Anthony de Jong Cleyndert - Upper Gallery
Land Marks - Jane Strother & Ella Clocksin - Lower Gallery
Ella and Jane's work is rooted in landscape and is a response to fragile ecologies. These include ancient woodlands (Clocksin) or land/sea margins (Strother) as well as more domesticated environments that have long borne the marks of human intervention and management. Space, light and colour are dominant for both artists, mediated through their individual sensibilities in composition, varying degrees of abstraction, mark-making and different media.

Strother works primarily in oil and acrylic and Clocksin mostly in watercolour and mixed media. Unknown to each other at the time, both artists previously lived in Cambridge and exhibited at the Old Fire Engine House Gallery. They now run professional studios on neighbouring roads in Oxford and undertake occasional curated projects together.
